FREE advice about how to fit child car seats properly will be given out by specialists on Thursday 17 June outside Tesco superstore in River Way.
Between 10am and 4pm specialists will be available to check child car seats while offering free and impartial advice to members of the public about fitting them.
Checks held so far this year across Hampshire have shown just 10 per cent of car seats are fitted correctly.
The service, being offered in partnership with Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Fire and Rescue, will make sure car seats are securely fitted at the correct position in relation to an individual child's height.
