A HAMPSHIRE apprentice has been named top of his trade at a prestigious prize-giving ceremony.
Daniel Nichols from Eastleigh took top spot in the First Year Flooring Apprentice category of the National Construction College South awards.
The 22-year-old, who works for town business GE Nichols, was one of 12 students recognised at the awards do in Kent.
