IT WAS fun for all the family as fundraisers gave hope to sufferers of a rare cancer.
Inspired by her mother’s brave battle with myeloma, Carmen Perry, from Southampton, hosted a family fun day to raise money to help provide greater access to new treatments.
Her mum, Paola, 69, was diagnosed with the disease seven years ago, and is currently receiving a new cancer treatment which helps to keep the symptoms under control.
The fun day raised £1,200 for Myeloma UK, a charity that funds research into the rare cancer.
