A TEAM of health consultants have taken to the treadmill for 12 hours to help raise cash for a children’s charity.

Consultants from Southampton West Slimming World took to the fitness machines in the Romsey Rapids to trek for 12 hours to raise money for their Smile appeal.

Lynn Cox, 43, from Romsey, who spent nine hours on the treadmill during one session said they had raised around £400 in the challenge which will go towards the NSPCC.
