Scooping up £2,700 on Find the Ball

A SOUTHAMPTON couple have scooped £2,750 in the Daily Echo’s Find the Ball competition.

Great-grandparents Patricia and Michael Harbut from Townhill Park picked up the runners-up prize.

Patricia, 67, said she plays the game every week and the cash boost has come as a surprise.

“It is absolutely lovely to have won,” she said.

The couple have 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren and live with a host of animals including three dogs, two cats, two cockatiels, fish and two tortoises.

“I love my animals and will probably save the money for a rainy day,” said Patricia.

Don’t miss tomorrow’s Daily Echo when the Find the Ball jackpot rises to a fantastic £42,000.
