Alresford's annual show bathed in sunshine as thousands turn out

THE Alresford Show was bathed in late summer sunshine as thousands of people . . . and dogs flocked through the gates at the weekend.

The canine contingent, on parade for a host of dog shows, attracted a VIP guest in the shape of Sarah Parish.

The actress, who features in the ITV programme, Mistresses, was judging the fancy dress category at the dog gymkhana.

The contest was raising money for the MOVE charity, which helps disabled youngsters in Hampshire and across the region.

I wish the Echo would stop referring to everyone who has appeared on TV as a star in headlines. I have never heard of Sarah Parish and I am sure that many others have not either. TV stars are the likes of Ant and Dec, Bruce Forsyth and arguably Simon Cowell.

I remember when a star had a track record of good films and theatre etc. Not two bit tv programmes that are force fed down our throats year in year out, through lack of talented writers and actors/actresses. I think this is the same woman who plays exactly the same character in every programme she is in, like that monsterous garbage about hairdressers. The same wooden boring acting, just another name on another bad show. Thank god for sky TV, so we no longer have to sit through torture like this anymore. Amanda Holden, Sarah Parish, Jordan, Alex Reid and Callum Best etc, Go flip burgers, as you may find a talent you didn't realise you had.

If you people had bothered to look her up you'd see that she's done a lot of serious acting. You're being unnecessarily crude towards the lady.
.
Ant and Dec for crying out loud. What is wrong with you, LOL!!?

Ant and Dec!! Stars!! Give me a break.
As for Sarah Parish, she at least has a bit of a track record for appearing in some better than average TV dramas (and Shakespeare adaptations).
