ANDOVERIAN Megan Brooks, aged 19, has been helping out Father Christmas prepare for his mammoth annual journey around the globe.
From the depths of Finland Megan, who lives in Strathfield Road, said: “The snow out here is four to five inches deep, and the most extreme temperature I have had to endure yet is -35 degrees and hope it doesn’t get any colder.
“I'm working in a place called Karesuando as an outdoor guide and elf, this includes taking the kids out tobogganing and kick sledding, playing party games with them and providing general entertainment in the snow like snowball fights, snow angles.
“I got the job on the internet as I am keen to see the world and wanted to experience what the arctic is like.”
