A Southampton radio station has launched its own appeal to help flood victims in Pakistan.
Awaaz FM is collecting donations to provide shelter, food and drink to help the more than five million people blighted by severe monsoon rains and flash floods.
The station also wants to send more than 900 food boxes.
Project and station manager Ali Beg said: “There is a severe lack of food and the risk of disease is high in overcrowded relief camps.
“Thousands of people are in a desperate situation and there is an urgent need for more funds to support them.”
He said a £10 donation could help provide shelter for people who've lost everything, £20 buy six jerry cans to store drinking water free from life threatening diseases such as cholera while £40 could buy two kitchen sets, allowing families to cook for themselves.
A £100 gift could buy eleven tarpaulins which provide immediate shelter, he said.
Donations are accepted at Awaaz FM studio, Top Floor, Centre for the Third Age, 11 Cranbury Terrace, Southampton, SO14 0LH
All donations will be forwarded to Pakistan Red Crescent.
