A NEW FOREST couple have organised a fundraising night with a difference in aid of a Hampshire charity.
Avid fundraisers Dave and Patsy Green, of Brokenford Road, Totton, will be holding a boat party in the middle of Southampton Water on Saturday in aid of children's hospice Naomi House.
The couple, who used to run a marquee company, have been organising fundraising events for four years, but decided this year to organise something a little different.
Patsy said: "Each year we try to do something a little bit different so we came up with the idea of having a boat party."
Dave added: "This is the first time we have organised a riverboat shuffle and we are working hard to make the event a huge success."
Over 200 people will enjoy live entertainment from local band Odds On, as well as a buffet and a raffle, on board the Blue Funnel liner.
Tickets to the party, which leaves Ocean Village marina at 7.45pm, cost £12.
