COMMUTERS using Andover Railway station will find a popular service withdrawn on Monday after the shop on platform 2 closed its doors on Friday.
The facility, which offered a full selection of newspapers, massive choice of magazines and also sweets, had been run by the same family for the past 18 years.
The station is currently undergoing a significant revamp and it is not yet known what plans South West Trains have for the provision of this service in future.
However newspaper and snacks are provided by the Pumpkin organisation at Basingstoke and Salisbury station platforms.
