Weather set fair for carnival - don't forget your suncream

The weather is set fair for a bumper Andover Carnival tomorrow.

Sunday is forecast to be dry with temperatures reaching the 70s (21C) and then climbing into the 80s (27C) by Wednesday.

After weeks of dismal rain people may have to dig out their sun hats as the UV level will be five which is moderate and with events going on for a long time there is a danger of sunburn.

The procession is due to start from Weyhill Road around 4pm and head for the Vigo Road Recreation Ground where a wide range of activities will be taking place, starting at noon.

Even Dr Who's tardis will be making an appearance along with a dalek.

The Basingstoke Big Concert Band will be playing at the time ting at 3pm
