STAFF and pupils at Test Valley School are celebrating as 64 per cent of pupils achieved five or more grades at A* - C with 54 per cent securing five or more grades at A* - C including English and Mathematics. Overall 21% of pupils secured three or more grades at A*/ A and 100 per cent achieved at least one pass or more at grade G or above.
Results in Mathematics were superb with over 80 per cent of pupils achieving a grade at A* - C and 27 per cent of pupils achieving a grade at A* - A. Congratulations in particular to Jack Peach who took his GCSE Mathematics one year early in Year 10 achieving grade A* and has taken his A Level this year achieving grade A*. Overall Jack achieved eleven A* /A grades.
The school congratulates all pupils on their results, including Eleanor Gravenor who achieved eleven A* grades and three A grades and Luke Attfield who achieved three A* grades and ten A grades.
Headteacher, Louisa Hiscock, said: “We all know how hard pupils and staff work to achieve their grades and this should not be underestimated. “I congratulate all pupils on their results and take this opportunity to thank staff for all the effort and support they put in to ensure our pupils do well. “I also thank parents for their valued support. Test Valley School continues to be a successful school and we look forward to building on these results as we keep going forward.’
