POLICE are hunting two young men after they were caught on CCTV carrying out a “despicable” assault in a Tadley garage.
The offenders, believed to be aged between 18 and 21, punched and verbally assaulted their victims before damaging fixtures in the Esso garage shop in Mulfords Hill .
At around 1.40am on Saturday August 18, two 21-year-old men were in the garage shop when they were approached to two unknown men who were verbally abusive.
The two offenders, who were wearing grey jogging bottoms, then punched the victims and before causing damage within the shop. Both offenders are described as white men, one of whom was wearing a blue zip-up hooded-top and the other a black Nike hooded-top.
One of the victims sustained a chipped tooth as a result of the assault.
PC Martyn Evans said: “This was an unprovoked attack which has left the victims feeling very angry and upset.
“Both victims are Tadley residents and feel very let down that members of their community could do such a thing.
“We share their sentiment and would appeal to anyone in the area who witnessed this incident and would be willing to provide the police with further information so we can investigate this despicable act.”
