Aimed at getting youngsters to speak up

A YOUTH group, aimed at getting Basingstoke youngsters to speak up about issues affecting them, will meet for the first time next month.

On October 4, at the Ex-Services Club, in New Road, Basingstoke Youth Movement will bring together youngsters aged from 16 to 28, to draft a letter for Basingstoke MP Maria Miller and borough council leader Councillor Clive Sanders .

The meeting, from 7pm-10pm, will also hear from young representatives from Labour, the Conservatives, and the Liberal Democrats.
