Winchester bank building up for auction with £1.8m guide price
THE rare chance to buy property in Winchester High Street is being offered next Wednesday. (OCT17
The Santander Bank at number 21 will go under the hammer at auction in central London.
CBRE Auctions says the building in the heart of the city centre has a guide price of £1.8-1.85million freehold and should attract an annual rent of £125,000, a yield of 6.9 per cent. It has 200 square metres of commercial space.
Santander has a lease until June 2019.
The auction is at Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
The likely purchaser will be a London or even internationally-based pension or investment fund.
The auction gives an insight into the relatively buoyant state of the Winchester property market.
