Topic at school is sky high
PUPILS from Wolverdene School celebrated the launch of their topic ‘Incredible Journeys’ by having a balloon race.
The children released 46 red balloons with tracking tags from the school and hope that people who find them will respond with the tracking details and location of where it was found.
The child whose balloon goes the furthest will win a small prize.
Class teacher, Miss Anna Konig, said: “The children are excited to find out how far their balloons travel.
“We are asking anyone who finds one of the balloons to email the school with the location of where the balloon was found.
“We will then map the balloon’s incredible journey on our topic display board.”
