Pupils bang the drums
PUPILS at Andover CE Primary School have been taking part in regular weekly Listen2Me drumming workshops.
Years 4 and 5 are learning to play the African drums in the workshops, while the rest of the school have also been given the opportunity to play on the drums.
Dan Priest from Hampshire Music Service has been visiting the school and holding sessions with the rest of the school’s pupils to teach them on different African drums and instruments.
It is hoped parents will be invited to attend the final session on 4 March to hear the children demonstrate some of their new skills.
