Active service for little troops
CHILDREN of soldiers away on active service in Afghanistan were given a chance to forget their worries at a special event involving pop favourites Same Difference in Tidworth on Sunday.
Sarah and Sean of Same Difference teamed up with My Daddy Is a Soldier Adventures to provide a fresh challenge for 50 British Army children.
They learnt choreography, singing and performance techniques from Same Difference themselves with a performance to family and friends at the end of the day.
The day was a great success and Sean from Same Difference saw star quality.
He said: “There’s plenty of stars out there today, little characters have been developing and we have see some stars emerging."
Louise Fetigan co-founder of the charity My Daddy is a Soldier Adventures said: “It’s been an amazing day with so many smiles from the children, it’s a day they won’t forget in a hurry.
“They worked so hard to put on a great show for family and friends and had fun in the process. We hope that they managed to forget any of their troubles while their soldiers are away and loved every minute.
“We can’t wait to see these Little Troopers again in the future."
