King George Road trial continues into second week

THE trial of Andover Man Roberto Ranieri has continued into a second week of evidence in Winchester Crown Court Mr Ranieri aged 46, of King George Road, faces two charges, murder and manslaughter, following the death of another local man, Steven Griffiths, on 21 August last year.

The defendant denies both charges.

Reports of this week’s proceedings including the defence and prosecution counsels’ closing submissions, the judge’s summing up of the case and legal points and, of course, the verdict will be in this Friday’s Andover Advertiser.
