SEVERAL thousands pounds worth of cigarettes and money were stolen from Texaco garage in Weyhill when burglars broke in between 2am and 2.30am this morning (Wednesday 28 July).

The burglars gained entry by dismantling a shutter covering the entrance and breaking the lock of the door.

Shelves behind the till containing cigarettes were emptied and damaged and police will be obtaining CCTV images from the garage of the break-in.
