Andover traders gather in bid to boost business

MORE than 70 people gathered in Andover's Upper Guildhall on Thursday evening to exchange views about how to improve Andover as a trading centre and shopping experience.

The meeting, organised by local Businessman Tony Hooke, heard a wide variety of gripes about the authorities as well as a number of positive suggestions about what may be done to boost trade and footfall.

Most of those who attended were local business people although a handful of councillors were also there.
