Smashed pub window

POLICE are appealing for information after a brick was thrown through the window of a Whitchurch pub.

It happened at the Red House pub, in London Street, at about 5.15am on Wednesday, 5 September and a car was heard driving off at speed shortly after.

PCSO Ben Howard said: “This seems to have been a deliberate attack on the pub in what is usually a very quiet area.

“Were you in the area between 4.30am and 5.30am? Did you see anything unusual or a car making off at speed?”

Anyone with any information should contact PCSO Howard at Whitchurch police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
