AN Andover charity is calling for volunteers to join its management board.
Andover Young Carers, which provides services for people between the ages of eight and 18, is looking for committed people to help with its strategic direction, setting and monitoring overall policy performance, while ensuring effective and efficient administration and continuing financial stability.
The charity would particularly like to hear from people with skills in health and safety, fundraising and income generation, human resources or a legal background, information systems and equipment and children’s services.
However, applications from people with other senior management or board experience are also very much welcome.
Trustees are expected to attend monthly management meetings in Andover with a 5.30pm start time, normally on the first Monday of the month, contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis and become involved in working groups as required.
