FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire this morning at Stanley Casino in Southampton.
A total of 20 fire fighters spent 20 minutes tacking the blaze which damaged the gaming room by the entrance to the casino and a staircase leading upstairs.
The fire services were alerted to the fire at Terminus House, Terminus Terrace, at 7.30am this morning after a member of the morning staff reported the fire.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, reel jets and thermal imaging cameras as they tackled the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at the moment and an investigation is under way to determine the cause by a fire officer.
