FEARS are growing for the welfare of a Hampshire teenager who has been missing for more than a week.

Charlotte Houlgate has been missing since she collected a bag of clothes from her Fareham home last Tuesday.

Police have today released a picture of the 15-year-old as they appeal for anyone with information about where she is to come forward.

She left her home address in Sanross Close, Fareham, at around 5.20pm on May 13.

PC Andrew Way, said: "We are concerned for the safety and welfare of Charlotte and would appeal for anyone with any knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward and assist us in her safe return.

"There is a possibility Charlotte is currently in the Southampton area."

Charlotte is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build and with shoulder length brown hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing three-quarter length jeans, a pink/red top and a silver chain with the letter 'C' on it. She was carrying a large laundry bag.
