Annual cricket competition returns to Cheriton

THE prestigious Five/5 cricket tournament will be held once again in Cheriton on August 31.
Now in its 16th year the competition is played from 9am to dusk and features eight teams.
Entrance is free and attractions at the Recreation Ground include a beer tent, BBQ, tea and cakes, children’s play area and free parking.
The event is part of the annual weekend long Flower Pots Beer Festival located opposite the ground which features more than 30 real ales, live music, all day BBQ, and curry tent.
