GREEN MEP for South East England, Caroline Lucas will speaking in Winchester next week before the launch of a local party.
At the free talk, to be held in the Discovery Centre on Tuesday, (March 18) she will discuss her vision for Winchester and the region.
As well as Caroline Lucas, other speakers will include Robert Hutchison, of WinACC (Winchester Action on Climate Change), who will reveal what action the group is taking locally, and Ian Nelson, of Sunnyfields Farm, who will talk about local food production and the links with climate change.
On a day's whistlestop tour of the county Dr Lucas will be speaking at the University of Winchester in the morning, then is going to see plans for new megasheds in the Andover area. In the afternoon she is in Southampton meeting a refugee group and tackling the drinking water fluoridation issues.
