CHILDREN at one Southampton school have no excuse not to carry on learning outside the classroom.
Pupils at Chamberlayne Park School in Weston now officially have one of the best so-called ‘virtual learning environments’ in the country.
The school’s network system features video and audio clips as well as worksheets to help pupils with their school work. It is one of three schools in the country to receive an “excellence’’ award for its website from LP-Plus – the organisation that helped to develop the system 18 months ago.
Head teacher Chris Kelly, pictured above, said: “The new system is already leading to a transformation in learning by enabling us to be more creative in how we present materials to young people.’’
