Thieves strike family home

A CAR and several thousand pounds’ worth of possessions were stolen when thieves targeted a Southampton house.

They stole two Dell laptops, a JVC video camera, a Vodafone mobile and 3G data card, and an iPod, as well as a wallet, chequebook, personal documents and jewellery from a house in Courtland Gardens, Bassett.

A bright orange 1998 Seat Ibiza was also taken.

The incident took place between midnight and 6am on Monday.
