JOHN Hanson Community School hosted a glittering Prom Fashion Show last week.
It was staged as an enjoyable way for this year's school leavers in Andover and the area to see the beautiful prom clothes, hairstyles, make-up, handbags that are available.
One of the organisers, Sue Risdale of Andover Nails, said: "It was also intended to provide a chance for local businesses, the community and John Hanson Community School to foster their good relationships with each other to mutual benefit."
Businesses, family and friends and others from the community were involved in various ways.
Two students from the school made a photographic record of the event.
Sue added: "The models, although initially nervous, looked stunning and were received with warmth by the crowd who enthusiastically cheered and clapped.
"Considering that most of those involved had never joined forces before, they did really good job of pulling the show together.
"It was all great fun. Those of us involved have learnt a lot from this experience. The next show will be even bigger and better."
Main organisers of the event were Jo and Debbie of Rembrunell Prom and Occasion Wear, Matt Elgar of Burton's Formal Menswear Hire, Sue Risdale of Andover Nails, Janet Kirkum and members of the John Hanson Schools Association and Natalie Bush, a member of the administrative staff at the school.
