POLICE have charged a man with murder following the discovery of a body at a Hampshire block of flats.
Officers were called to Sydney House, Settlers Close, in the Fratton area of Portsmouth where they found the body of a dead man on Friday night.
A Home Office post mortem revealed the body to be that of 33-year-old Spencer Dean Ellis, of Gurnard Close, Cosham, who died as a result of stab wounds.
Darren Dennis Pitt, 33, of Settlers Close, has been charged with murder and will appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
