England football fans are celebrating after the national team won a thrilling Euro 2012 match against Sweden in Ukraine.

Roy Hodgson's team triumphed 3-2 after a fantastic fightback from 2-1 down.

Andy Carroll headed England in front in their Euro 2012 Group D encounter in Kiev.

The Liverpool striker broke the deadlock after 23 minutes when he headed home a cross from skipper Steven Gerrard.

Sweden's Olof Melburg equalised three minutes after half-time and headed a second goal 10 minutes later to put Sweden ahead.

Hodgson responded by taking off James Milner and replacing him with substitute Theo Walcott.

It was an inspired move with the Arsenal player equalising after 64 minutes.

And Manchester United's Danny Welbeck scored the winner in the 78th minute.

The game began 15 minutes later than planned to avoid a clash with France's 2-0 win over Ukraine in Donetsk, which was delayed by rain.

There were around 20,000 Swedish fans in the stadium, outnumbering the England contingent by a four-to-one ratio - but it was the England fans who were singing loudest at the final whistle.

The Welbeck goal looked like a fluke to me.
A case of the ball hitting his foot, rather that his foot hitting the ball.

They did well, although I think the Swedes played the better football.
