Bike thieves foiled

TWO youths who tried to steal a bicycle from outside a Romsey home fled empty-handed after the householder gave chase.
Police say the youths, both wearing hoodies, dropped the bike and ran off when challenged. The incident happened at Hayter Gardens on Sunday afternoon.
