ARSONISTS have targeted a Romsey-based pre-school for the second time in three years.
Play equipment replaced in the first attack on Chatterbox Community Pre-School’s base at Montfort Hall was wrecked in the latest blaze before breakfast on Tuesday. Bosses at the pre-school have been left devastated and the attack forced leaders to close the pre-school for the day.
The equipment that included bikes, trampolines, books, paperwork, was stored in a large metal container in the grounds of Montfort Hall at Benedict Close in the town’s Halterworth district.
The hall, which was severely damaged in an arson attack in April 2007, was not affected this time.
The Meader family who own Crampmoor Garage have already given the pre-school £100 to replace some of the equipment lost in the fire.
