Romsey Tourist Information Centre is holding an open day with a Florence Nightingale theme.
The event, on Saturday, March 20, from 10am to 3pm, will include a brief presentation about Florence’s life by a costumed actress and a children’s quiz with the chance to win tickets to local attractions. Romsey coach company, Avensis, is running a trip to Florence’ burial place, St Margaret’s Church, East Wellow, at 11.30am to view a film about her life and legacy.
