GOADSBY'S estate agency has become the latest commercial business to close in Romsey since the start of the year.

The company, which has offices throughout Dorset and South West Hampshire, has shut its premises in The Hundred, although no one was available to comment on the closure at its head office in Bournemouth.

Previously, there had been Romsey town centre closures at Mann's sports and clothing shop, the Palmerston café and the Travelling Light clothing shop.

Meanwhile, Goadsby's Romsey office still has its site on the internet which reveals that its average time on the market for a property is 142 days and that its property turnover ranking was 9,254 out of 16,329 agents. Calls to its offce in The Hundred were being diverted to its Winchester branch.
