Saints urged: win it for Bally!

Comments (0)SAINTS skipper Claus Lundekvam has told his team-mates: Let's win promotion for Alan Ball.
Thousands of mourners were today converging on Winchester Cathedral to pay their last respects to the Saints legend.
"He's going to be sorely missed and there won't be a better way to give Bally a real send-off than for us to win on Sunday and get ourselves in the play-offs," said Lundekvam.
"Alan would have loved to be there on Sunday and cheer us on. His very sad death is another incentive for us to try even a bit harder to try and get to the Premiership this season.
He would have loved that."
