Striker John Carew is the major injury doubt having missed the midweek win over Tottenham with a knee injury. Shaun Maloney is pushing for a starting place.
Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar returns from a groin injury to replace Tomas Kuszczak. Wayne Rooney will travel after returning to training after a virus that caused him to miss the victory against Birmingham in midweek but Carlos Tevez remains doubtful after sustaining an ankle injury during that game.

Bartosz Slusarski's loan spell at Blackpool has been extended by a further month by West Brom and there are no other concerns.

It will be the final game for Salomon Kalou, Michael Essien, Drogba and Mikel John Obi before they leave for the African Nations Cup with their respective countries.
QPR could parade up to seven new signings. January arrivals Patrick Agyemang, Rowan Vine, Hogan Ephraim, Fitz Hall, Kieran Lee, Gavin Mahon and Matthew Connolly could all be involved. Akos Buzsaky, who this week made his loan deal from Plymouth permanent, is also available. Mikele Leigertwood serves the third game of his four-match suspension.
