Saints 2-3 QPR

Saints caretaker manager Jason Dodd said his team was bitterly disappointed to slip to a seventh home defeat of the season.

Darren Powell got Saints off to the perfect start with a goal after just 55 seconds but two goals in the closing stages of the first half saw them trailing at half time.

QPR stretched their lead in the second period, all three goals a result of defensive errors, and it meant Stern John's late strike, after Youssef Safri had been sent off, was a mere consolation.

Dodd said: "We got off to a fantastic start and looked to build on that.

"We had two or three great chances through Stern and Bradley and if we'd have taken one of those it might have been a wee bit different but it's disappointing three mistakes cost us goals.

"That was our problem earlier in the season where individual mistakes have cost us."

Saints scored in the first and last minutes of the match but in between were taught a lesson in clinical finishing by QPR.

To make things worse Saints captain Youssef Safri is now facing a three game ban after being shown a straight red card 12 minutes from time.

Saints could hardly have got off to a better start.

Bradley Wright-Phillips chased down a ball over the top and QPR keeper Lee Camp slid to claim it but his momentum took him just outside the box.

Adam Hammill stepped up to take the free kick on the left edge and swung it into the area where Darren Powell came through a melee of players to finish in the opposite corner within a minute of the kick off.

QPR looked dangerous in attack though and Safri had to be on his guard to head away a Kieran Lee cross that looked as though it could drift in at the far post while Kelvin Davis made a comfortable save from Gavin Mahon moments later.

Stern John tried to catch Camp off guard with a quickly taken half volley from 40 yards on ten minutes but it went wide.

Hogan Ephraim couldn't quite make a clean contact when he had a yard in the box to shoot and it was an easy save straight at Davis.

Wright-Phillips had the same problem from a corner on 21 minutes with his glancing header going wide at the far post.

Martin Rowlands came close to levelling the scores two minutes later with a terrific volley from the edge of that area that flew just over the top right hand corner of Davis' goal.

It really was a very good game with both sides playing open, attacking, passing football and pushing on looking for goals.

Saints missed two glorious opportunities to double their lead in the space of a few seconds on 35 minutes.

First Andrew Surman split the defence with a terrific ball into the path of Wright-Phillips but his weak shot when through one-on-one was straight at Camp.

The QPR keeper's ball out was then intercepted and Saints found themselves with three players in behind and just Camp to beat.

Jason Euell had the ball on the right and quickly squared to Stern John who just had to side foot home from the penalty spot but skied his effort so far over the bar.

Camp was in action again three minutes later when he palmed away Andrew Davies' header from a corner.

And predictably Saints were made to pay for their wastefulness when QPR equalised on 38 minutes.

Rowan Vine charged past several despairing tackles and fed in Rowlands who finished low past the advancing Davis inside the area for 1-1.

And it got worse just before half time when QPR took the lead.

Damien Delaney put in a deep cross from the right, Patrick Agyemang had peeled off to the far post and in behind left back Jermaine Wright and side footed low past Davis from the edge of six yard box for 2-1.

That proved to be the last chance of the half and despite playing well Saints' poor finishing meant they had plenty of work to do in the second half.

Both sides made a change at half time.

Dodd and Gorman brought on Marek Saganowksi for Hammill while QPR's switch saw Akos Buzsaky replacing Kieran Lee.

Dodd and Gorman made another change on 53 minutes with Jhon Viafara coming on for Wayne Thomas.

Buzsaky became the first player in the book for a foul on Surman.

The second half wasn't as open as the first with QPR having a lead to protect and not pushing men forward and leaving gaps at the back quite as much.

And then Saints went and shot themselves in the foot with a truly comical third Rangers goal on 61 minutes.

Camp kicked a long ball from his hands and as Davis came out of his area to clear Wright decided to try and control on his knee but only succeeded in knocking the ball past his own keeper.

The chasing Agyemang ran on and grateful slid the ball home from close range under no pressure.

Powell went on to become the first Saints man in the book two minutes later.

Dodd and Gorman made a third and final change to try and get back into the game with Adam Lallana coming on for Wright-Phillips on 68 minutes.

Delaney was booked for a foul on Euell a minute later.

Lallana showed a bit of thrust and determination with a powerful run and shot from 20 yards that went just wide.

Saints were showing occasional signs of life but the fans were growing ever more frustrated.

The icing on the cake came on 78 minutes when Safri was sent off.

Agyemang had the ball and Safri thumped into a tackle winning the ball but sending the QPR man up in the air with the follow through which was deemed too aggressive and a deliberate trip and referee Anthony Taylor showed him the red card.

Former Saints striker Dexter Blackstock was introduced on 79 minutes for Agyemang.

QPR made a final change on minutes with Mikele Leigertwood replacing Ephraim.

It almost got worse for Saints as Blackstock put the ball right across the face of goal but there was no one there to tap it home.

Saints gave themselves hope when John pulled a goal.

The fourth official had just shown the board for four minutes of stoppage time when Euell's ball found John who finished across Camp into the far corner for 3-2.

Saints threw a few balls in the area but it was QPR who came closest with Buzsaky curling a shot just wide of the post and when the final whistle went the late rally proved not to be enough for Saints who slipped to another defeat.

OMFG.

Yet another season to look forward to in the chumpionship, yet another season of having to put up with them lot down the road rubbing our faces in our own sh*t.

Im just so sick and tired of giving so much of my time, money and heart into supporting this team and getting absoultly nothing in return.

DISGRACE!

I've got a lot to get off my chest.

Poor performance, started well, just went downhill after that. I was at the game, shame on those fans that left half an hour before the end, call yourself real supporters?

Our defece today was appalling, all three goals (especially the 3rd) could've been avoided. How does Jason Euell get into the starting 11 every week, he is useless.

Message to the board, lets face it, Gorman and Dodd need to be replaced. The only reason the players like them is probably because they're given an easy time in training, fitness and concentration levels out there today were at an all time low. We need a no nonsense manager to come in and tell the likes of Euell, Wright-Phillips etc to shape up or **** out.

Also, Leon Crouch, try harder to get some investment in, every rumour about being linked with a takeover seems to be a false dawn. Do your job!

Think thats it for now

Saints are dying, says...
5:24pm Sat 9 Feb 08

This club is dying and its a slow painful death.

We are run by incompetants, we have scumbags as major shareholders and says it all when we have a moron like Leon Crouch as chairman.

What a great idea to carry on playing exactly the same way as we did under Burley, because that was working wasn't it?!?! Still playing players out of position and still seeing rubbish like Euell doing diddlysquat in a Saints shirt.

How moronic to appoint Dodd & Gorman on the back of the fact the players like them! This bunch of players are only interested in the easy life, of course they want nice people in charge of them.

The club has to appoint a new manager NOW. The new manager has to be a right hard bástard who will flog the players into the ground in training and make them fearful of playing bad.

The club really is in freefall on and off the pitch and I fear is going to get a lot worse over the coming months.

Shame on you Saints.

L, La La Land says...
5:24pm Sat 9 Feb 08

Perhaps if Jermain Wright wasnt on the pitch, that might help!? he is a complete waste of space. Does he/ the players not feel guilty taking home their wages every week. I am so glad I've given up on going, its bad enough listening on Radio Solent!

Come on Saints, pull your finger out!!!

I think it is a good idea to keep Dodd and Gorman as the caretaker managers. Firstly, if a takeover does go ahead, then it is likely the new chiarman will want to bring in the manager of his choice and this enables him to do that. Secondly, the performances under the current management have not been that bad. I thiink that promotion is a goal that is too ambitous for the current season but with some new investment and a new manager in the next few months, we can easily buy new players and make a decent push for the next season. COYR!!!!

You don't have a clue what you are talking about.

There is NO investment coming into the club anytime soon. Just more smokescreens to keep fans from kicking up a fuss about how our club is being so poorly run.

We've won one game under Gorman & Dodd and that against Bury who are near the bottom of the 2nd division! And Bury deserved to win that game!

Now the players are under no pressure again and it showed today. Too lazy (apart from Andrew Davies) no concentration, no fitness and this is the worse Saints team I have ever seen and they have the worst attitude too.

Play the kids and get shot of Thomas, Euell, Wright, Wright-Phillips, Powell and SternJohn.

What does this team do in training? They cannot control the ball, cannot pass the ball and don't have a clue. I am sorry to say that on recent form we will be relegated. What a mess.

It's time the Southampton business community realised a club in the Premiership or even better in Europe is the best advert for the City and it's businesses. Can't you guys get on board and give the club it's financial backing. The Saints could easily be top 10 Premiership with the money and the right manager.

After Sky Sports saying Saints players are letting QPR scoring two silly goals just before half time. Saints got one goal one minute after the start thanks to a quick free kick which end with a Powell goal. Our players let us down by missing easy goals several times during the match.

In the second half Saints had tried to do well but it was impossible to get at goals during the match and when QPR scored a third, the fans starting to leave the stadium and Sky Sports News says many fans was heard booing and hissing at our team.

Even Stren John's late goal did not stop us going down! We are now 9 points from the drop in their new position of 18th and rumours were heard about the boards deciding this week whether we have to go into administration should investors fails to buy the club.

If that is the case we could drop down to bottom after a 10 points penalty deducation like our fellow southern club, Bournemouth.

what are you taliking about?

Crouch is to blame 100%, he put them there, and claimed this was best for the club.

As to the players who missed the goals, it sounds like you think all clubs should gety rid off their managers because they can not effect the result?

Ask a Palace fan , or Sunderland fan what a new manager can do! One who motivates, makes the right tactical decisions, and gives the team a good kick up the backside when needed!

This season we should be in the play offs, not fighting religation. You might be happy with at best another year in this crap fizzy league, at worst a drop. but Crouch should be giving fans what they desreve, and that is better than this crap!!

Crouch has gamble on the cheap, and I for one will not lay off him, until he delivers what all Saints supporters desreve!!

I've been going to the Dell and St Marys for the last 50 years. If I choose not to waste another half an hour of my time that is my business and it certainly doesn't make me any less of a supporter that people who spend their time singing that fellow supporters 30 miles away should be shot.

I will be back again next match, and I will be back next year when I rather suspect we may be where I came in - in the equivalent of the old third division south.

Frankly, although I really regret that fan power stopped Glen Hoddle rejoining the Saints while we still had half a team, the main problem now is not the manager or even the board. It's the fact that the players we've got are just poor. Andrew Surman is rated by many, included on this message board, as one of the best if not the best player. And that just shows how poor the standard is because once again his lack of talent and lack of corage shone like a beacon.

If we get some investment, we may be able to buy some players to improve what we see each week. But until then, I will continue to buy my season ticket and continue to hope we may win enough games to stay in the Championship. And I will continue to choose to leave early occasionally if I want (this is the third time in 50 years I have left early).

The only good thing at the moment is that (A) we don't have to be humiliated by playing Pompey twice a season (B) we won't have join in the idiotic idea of playing one game a season overseas.

I was at the game today and we had a bright start but the more the game went on QPR were always going to win as they were more organised than Saints and this is down to QPR having a manager. If we are not careful we will getting relegated as we cannot defend and Saints seem to allow loads of space for the opposition on our right wing.QPR player with shirt number 25 had so much space that it was obvious that he do an assist which happened and even Saints still had problems in the second half with this player having loads of space and it other teams have picked on this on previous games.Saints need a manager NOW!!! The board must wake up cos IF we go down whose going to invest their money with Saints.Red and White forever.

I've been saying since the end of last season. Why oh why are we not playing the young players rather than these journeymen hangers on? If Liverpool wanted Lancashire how come we're playing Powell. If Lallana is the next star midfielder we've produced, why wright/Euell? If we're not scoring goals why not McGoldrick?

At least the season wouldn't be wasted as we'd be giving them some valuable experience. I really can't see us finishing bottom three so why not play these lads who would play with passion and pride for the shirt? I have no problem with Gorman and Dodd. These players are Sh1t3. The worst I've seen since my first game. 4-2 win against Liverpool at the Dell late eighties. How we've changed. One season had more happy memories than the last five years.

Lets be honest guy,Saints struggled for years in the Premiership with Le Tiss saving us for at least 10 seasons and never left the club.

Thats it. I have had enough. Time for everyone involved with our great club to stand up and be counted. Leon, one undeserved win and one point from 9 doesn't mean Dodd and Gormless are doing a good job. Do they still phone Burley for team advice. 18th in the Championship is not good enough for Saints. Get someone in NOW. I will even take Billy Davies at the moment. At least he can get the players to play with a bit of fight. I work with a load of Liverpool fans who moan about Benitez. If they don't want him we'll have him. Why does Wright think he is worthy of waering a Saints shirt. And why buy Thomas and play him on the wing. I despair. Please Leon pull your finger out and make this club great again.

Fair enough I thought and went down to the considerably nearer Ashton Gate, not the team I support but at least I could gwatch a game. To my amazement I see the attendance at SMS was 22,000. Unbelievable!! That seems to me 10,000 short. a really bad result for saints. we are not far off of a relegation scrap now and we need to pick up a few wins just to keep us in mid-table safety. the cup game against bristol rovers after stoke on tuesday is a welcome break from the misery of looking at the league table, a good cup run is the only highlight of a season which although i half suspected it anyway, it has been a really dissappointing one. what we need to do is look a QPR, and see that new investment, new chairman, a new manager and money to spend on new players has galvanised the club that has struggled for years at lower levels and they look like a team that is gonna go up!! and i wouldnt bet against them doing it this season.
this is what we've got to hope for!! we've gotta hang in there and hope that next season we'll have a new chairman with some money, a new manager and a new team and a fresh start for everyone.
it really hurts to be a saints fan right now but i wouldnt rather be a fan anywhere else.

I am from Southampton too, born and bred. But your kind of blind faith just plays into the hands of a board that just takes our money, sells the best players, feeds us a load of bullsh*t and doesn't give a ****.

The fact remains we're paying roughly £25.00 a game for a thoroughly miserable experience every week. If you look at it for one moment as a consumer rather than as a fan we're getting treated very poorly. And that was the point I was making.

The loyalty of Saints fans should not be taken for granted - you may not want to defect to Fratton Park, but there are plenty of more enjoyable ways of spending a Saturday than watching the rubbish we've been served up this season.

100% right mate.
I have previously posted on this site many times before that when teams come to SMS they now expect to take home all three points.
Reason being....with the exception of Andrew Davies the rest of the team have no determination,no fight,no desire,no ball winners....need I go on.
Until we get players in with passion we are going nowhere.
Stop the rot and get a manager in to bring some lifeblood back into this souless squad.
Oh...and another thing whose brainless idea was it to stick the away support in the Northam end.
We need the whole end for SFC... not sharing it half and half as this will make for a more intimidating atmosphere.

It's now Sunday morning and I still haven't got over yesterday's abject performance by the Saints. I read a quote from John Gorman that he And Jason have been told by the Board that there is no pressure. Well let me say that there is one hell of a lot of pressure because we are now in a relegation fight. Forget the play offs we need to avoid the drop and I'm afraid to say that on what I've seen recently I'm not overly optimistic. It's all well and good waiting for investment before making an appointment but who will want to invest in a League 1 team. The players are too comfy with Messrs Gorman and Dodd, they are just drifting. WE need a new Manager NOW not in 3 months time because that will be too late and please don't wait for Tony Pulis or we will just have a team of clogging 6ft 5 giants. We need a no nonsense Manager like Billy Davies ( not everyone's cup of tea ) who will give this squad of under achievers a good rollicking before it's too late. So Mr Crouch get on and do your Job as Chairman and pull your finger out before it's too late.

Young Lallana came on and was a breathe of fresh air - at last we have someone who can beat people in the middle of the park and have the confidence to then shoot on goal - quite a novelty for us to have a player like that!!
Team against Stoke should be:

Davis

Powell
Davies
O'Halloran
Viafara
Lallana
Surman
Idiakez

Why does everbody have something against Jason Euell? He had a reasonable game yesterday and has been the best Saints player by far over the last few weeks. I don't see all you Sados playing for Saints. He gives 110 percent every bloody week. Anyway, as for your team mullingar, if we field them we will lose more like 100-0. Davis is on good form at the moment apart from that blunder yesterday. Ostlund is injured most of the time and a waste of space the other time. Powell played ok yesterday but could be out for another two months even if he just stubs his toe. Davies is good. As for O'Halloran, he is awful. He just gives the ball away all the time on his debut and scores an own goal while playing for Ireland in the under 21's. As for Viafara he is good when he's in the mood, otherwise he just walks around the field daydreaming. He has been "ill" over the last couple of weeks but many people think he's on his way out. Lallana played very well when he came on against QPR, I agree with you on that choice. Surman tries hard but usually gives the ball away. But, I think he could improve. As for Idiakez, he is past it. Ex Derby (that can't be good) and he's another one like Powell who just sits around on his bum all day, and when he plays he gets injured straight away. Stern John missed a complete sitter on Saturday but he holds the ball up well and with a bit of support he could help us get a few goals. Finally Mcgoldrick. He is a good goalscorer but I have a feeling that he can get a bit greedy and that is not what Saints need.

I know Saints have alot of work to do but I think we should give Gorman and Dodds a bit more time. Keep Euell in! Up the Saints!!

Saint Compo, Winchester says...
7:12pm Sun 10 Feb 08

I have berated many contributors to this site in recent weeks for their cynicism and negativism and have said that we must continue to support the Club.

I stick by that. However, yesterday's defeat was not just down to a few serious individual errors (as made out by Doddy). It was due to poor team selection - Euell is appalling and playing Wright at left back rather than O'Halloran (a left back) - and worst of all, a total lack of commitment, effort and enthusiasm by the players (Davies and Davis excepted).

In more than 50 years as a Saints supporter I have never seen such a wretched Saints team as that which took the field yesterday. They were a disgrace to the Saints shirt. They should be docked a week's wages and Saints fans should be given free tickets to a future match. We complain about fat cat investment bankers with their obscene bonuses but these footballers are just as bad. Why should we tolerate it?

We only need 12 points from 15 games to be sure of staying up. We can probably manage that. Give some other players a chance - Lallana, Licka, McGoldrick.

Let's hope we can get the new investment and clear out the dross we have in the playing staff at present. Many of those players know they will not feature for us in the Premiership if we got there, so where's the incentive for them to gain promotion? I get the impression they are not at all bothered about doing so.

As for Doddy and Gorman, they are being let down by the players. They should be given a few more games in charge, but only if they are prepared to make the team changes that are necessary and work the players, who look very unfit physically and mentally, twice as hard on the training ground.

The Board must do everything in their power to find a buyer for the Club. The big shareholders like Lowe, Crouch and Wilde, and their cronies must realise that, unless they are realistic in their expectations, they will soon be holding shares with very little value.

Season ticket sales will plummet next season if there is no progress in the next 2 months. The Club is in great danger of collapse.

We fans have to stick with it but there is a limit to our patience and loyalty. Everyone at the Club must understand that.

Glad I'm not the only one to think that only Davis and Davies are up for the cause at the back. Thomas is erratic, Powell is never fit and Wright is wrong at left back (and most other positions). Euell and BWP are wasters who ponce around and do little in return. John is ok with good service.

Time to role the sleaves up, which means bringing back Viafara, and taking the matches to the opposition as we are not good enough to sit back on leads.

For Stoke, bring in Viafara and Saga for Euell & BWP for starters, consider O'Halloran instead of Wright and maybe give Lancashire a go at the back. If only we were about to hang on to Bale, Baird, Cranie, Jones and Walcott....

The story is that, IF one could be found to take the job, he/she would probably want their own staff, and SFC can't afford to make the redundancy pay-off to Ken Dodd and Teresa Gorman.

You can't get investors interested because they figure that it would be cheaper to pick up the pieces when the club goes 'belly up' in administration, rather than invest now, paying a Championship Club price for what could very well be a League One club next season!

Alot of question have to be asked. Why was JW playing at RB? We all know he is a CM. I feel sorry for JW.

We have Jesus who is a RB so why didn't he play? and Thomas at LB?

Looks like Gormen has been on the phone to GB.

As for Surman - about time someone dropped him. Yes, he is a Saints fan but he shouldn't be in the team for that reason.

Your owner has giving up on you,you aint got no money, no more.
And its quite easy to work out why he has become suddenly tight fisted.
The simple fact is that you are no longer worth the risk of investment,by your curreny owner, or anyone else for that matter.
YOU HAVE NOT GOT THE LAND TO BUILD ON,so there is NO PROFITin portsmouth fc whatsoever.
And l can also tell you that pfc HAD to BORROW £24million a couple of months ago.
Ask yourself why borrow all that money, if you have a rich owner.
As for managers, your assistant manager applied for the job,and was told thanks, but no thanks, and giving Saints got a fair whack of compensation from the SFA,money most certainly is not an issue.
This time last week there was no hope of any potential takeover, there is now, dont you read the papers pugwash.

5. Lost 2, drawn 1 and a win in the cup (bury) is not an impressive start. (dodd/gorman)
6. No money
7. No further word on potential investors or buyers.
8. No further player purchases or loans. Mcmenemy says we have a decent squad. (clearly not, who the feck is he watching!!!)
9. 18th place in the championship.
10. 7 points, (four places) from relegation albeit 7 points from play off place.
11. JOHN and BWP only hit the target after 100 chances between them. How anyone rates BWP i dont know. He is not even a shadow of his brother and an embarrassment to Ian Wright. I know thats harsh, but deserved.

Sturrock is the man you speak of and look how that worked out. Players drove him out because his answer to poor performances on the pitch is to run hard in training or get out. If Storruck had been allowed to get rid of the dead wood and bring in workers we'd still be top flight. That is one mistake Lowe made that is rarely talked of.

We went from Wigley to Sturrock. Do we bring someone hard in again? It would take time as the players would jump ship and the team would be a problem until that new man was able to completely change the first team, al but a few players that deserve to stay.

I'm going to start a website, euell out.com I'd love to see how many hits it gets. My thinking is alot!

Good morning Princess.
Sorry I did not get back to you yesterday.
It really surprises me that you know so much about the inner workings of THE ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB ON THE SOUTH COAST, and yet you obviously know precious little about what goes on at SMS!
You say that PFC have had to borrow £24m. I have seen nothing about this in the press, but the general public have certainly been made aware of the Stains' financial plight!
IF (r) IF PFC have borrowed money, in these times when borrowing is not easy, it must indicate that PFC are a good risk, and the lender must be sure of getting the money back - with interest! Also, it must mean that the security given (eg PFC) must be worth well over the £24m.

No mention of what happened to the fans site 'SaintsForever.com'! I guess your fans are not For Ever! Certainly the notes on here would tend to indicate this!

Regarding your closing dross!

We may not have a Pot to 'aim at', but after your display when you last visited THE HOME OF THE ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB ON THE SOUTH COAST, when Lua Lua exposed the frailties of 'Lurpak Nieme', we will be quite content to aim it where it leaves STAINS!!

Cleaned all that salt from your mouth yet pug, must have been cold down the docks this morning.
As l have correctly pointed out,you no longer have a pot to **** in.

What team would sale the premierships third top scorer, and their best player for less than they actually paid for him,3.8million for Benjani, priceless.
Let me know when the next car-booty is at fratton park, sure can pick some bargains up,FAF.
And despite having to sell your best player you still cannot afford that dwarf from spurs resrves.
Surely you should be adding to your team, not replacing them with loan players.
Its becoming clearer now, aint it.
ASSET STRIPPING IS HAPPENING AS WE SPEAK PUG!
Without being able to buy land you are totally fooked as a club.
And your owner now realises that,he cannot make a profit without a new ground and he cannot make a profit without new land,FACT!
In other words, because you live on a tiny little island where land is at a premium, this will ultumately be your down-fall.
So make the most of it,and prepare yourselves as to being dominated for another half a century.
Its quite sad how you can only highlight one game in 50 years as your success against Saints, says it all really.
I have had the pleasure of watching saints in top flight football whilst producing the finest youngster this country has produced, three major cup finals, European football, attacking football a new stadium, the list goes on and on.
I would swap all that for that one 4-1 result.
You are in more debt than Saints, but wew have a state of the art stadium and training complex for our debt, and that something pompey will NEVER have, keep playinmg in your tin hut with your 14,000 supporters, because you aint going no-where!

Hi Princess! or should I say, 'Bitter from Bittern'!
It was a shame that Benjani was transferred, but football is a business, and Defoe will, I am certain, score more goals.
Selling at a loss? Yes! But we were NOT selling because we were SKINT, as some clubs have to do, but to replace a good striker with a better one.
Of course, with the vast sums that have been made by way of compensation from the SFA for your most popular manager, Burley, and the money saved by sending your players out on loan, to save on wages, you could, of course, come up with the cash and bought Benjani yourself! I wonder why Stains didn't? Could cash crisis be a reason?
What happened to the cash received from THE SOUTH COAST'S ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB for Martin Cranie? What about the cash received for Theo Walcott? I note that a certain Rasiak was playing for Bolton on Saturday, didn't a player of that name play for your lot? He was playing alongside a certain Mr Davis - does that name ring a bell?
You mention watching your team, and the best youngster produced! What happened to him? Who was it? Where is he now?
Channon? Sold!
Bridge? Sold!
Bale? Sold!
Cranie? Sold!
Walcott? Sold!
Reading a lot of the comments on recent games, I guess that you are not referring to Surman!
With all the money received from the above, and others whose names escape me, you still cannot attract investors or a manager, with Alan Shearer being the latest to distance himself from his old stamping ground!
Whoopee! You have a 'state of the art' stadium! But what a state your club and team are in! Hardly 'state of the art'!
When I go to football, I go to watch PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL, PLAYED BY A TEAM OF PREMIER QUALITY. I do not go to admire the architecture! If that is your thing, good luck! Enjoy! On saturday you would have had the choice of over 10,000 empty seats from which to admire the building! Probably a better sight than what was on display!

Is there no end to this? Gorman and Doddsy have got a right job on, to keep things stable. They have my support if they deal with some of the player issues. Its the actual players themselves, who have got us here, and they are the ones to remedy it. G&D please pack BWP off to some amateur league where he might find his level, his concentration, fitness levels, commitment and skills are pathetic compared to some of the players to have worn a saints shirt. Drop Euell who has hit the wall in playing terms, its costing us dear with his limited playmaking in the midfield. Drop Thomas, he is no fullback. Ensure Viafara, Idiakos, Licka are involved in the rest for selection. It won't be perfect but it will promote better passing, ball winning and closing space down. Finally I'd like G&D to express real opinions on players individual performance, to embarrass the slackers into some sort of self grief.

In the unlikely event that our Chairman should decide to leave, you can bet your life that there would be plenty of people, WITH MONEY!!! who would want to buy a Premier League Club. Where are \'the people with money, waiting to invest\' that you gullible people were told were waiting to come onboard once Rupert & Co were shifted? If, as you suggest, we are the Wigan of the South, may I remind you that Wigan are Still in the Premier League! For you, the Premier League is just a memory, with little prospect of a return for a decade or more. You wonder why you have not got a new manager? The story is that, IF one could be found to take the job, he/she would probably want their own staff, and SFC can\'t afford to make the redundancy pay-off to Ken Dodd and Teresa Gorman. You can\'t get investors interested because they figure that it would be cheaper to pick up the pieces when the club goes \'belly up\' in administration, rather than invest now, paying a Championship Club price for what could very well be a League One club next season! I notice that you gave no reason why the fan site, \'SaintsForever.com\' was closed down! Lack of interest? Lack of fans? No one believed the B S that they were being fed? If I went to a shop and got short-changed once, I may consider it an accident. If that shop short-changed me twice, I would think they were careless. If they did it again on a third visit, that would be my last! How long are you prepared to be short-changed at SMS? They say, \'A mug and their money is soon parted\'. Are you saving for next season\'s season ticket? U Mug!
Youve had the money, its gone, our day will come, and rest assured when it does, prepare yourself for another half a century of being dominated by Saints, history will be repeated and NORMAL SERVICE WILL BE RESUMED. YOU AINT GOT A POT TO **** IN,FACT!

Of course, with the vast sums that have been made by way of compensation from the SFA for your most popular manager, Burley, and the money saved by sending your players out on loan, to save on wages, you could, of course, come up with the cash and bought Benjani yourself! I wonder why Stains didn\'t? Could cash crisis be a reason? What happened to the cash received from THE SOUTH COAST\'S ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB for Martin Cranie? Yes you are selling because you are skint, your owner wants out asap.
If you were not skint, why sell a 9million pound player for a fraction of that price.
Why wait until you have sold that player,in order to replace him.
Why lie about buying a player when infact it was only a loan, and you still have not brought him, check the fa website out.
You are fooked,YOU HAVE NOT GOT THE LAND,and thats the bottom line.
We will get investment, lets face it,if your shower of **** can get investment, fook me we are more than guaranteed investment, not if, but when.
As for attracting managers your assistant managers, not a problem, we have already turned Joe Jordan DOWN.
As for crowds dont even go there, check out the attendance at SMS and fratton park when both teams played at home a few weeks ago,let me remind you that Saints absolutely smashed your attendance, and you were giving free tickets away to the RN.
Giving the fact that you are watching the likes of Arsenal, manure and chelsea, are your average attendances any better than Saints for this season, pathetic.
You are above Saints because of one thing, money, now its gone, the honeymoon period is well and truly over for pfc.

Hi Princess! Still 'Twitter and Bisted'!
Instead of believing your own clap trap, try reading what has been written by your colleagues, who appear to be more aware of the current situation at SMS than you are.
So our owner wants to sell asap because he is skint!
That is why he sold Benjani for less than he paid for Defoe. Diarra, Auben and Baros have also arrived to strengthen the team - not sent out on loan because we can't afford to pay their wages.
If you had a little knowledge, you would know that the process is quicker to register a loan deal than a transfer deal. Because of the time factor, Defoe was registered as a loan, then the transfer was compelted. No Lie, just knowledge.
We have not got the land! True! The club are currently in negotiation with MOD. I seem to recall that SFC tried for a number of sites before they were shunted to the gasworks site!
You will get investment! You were promised that investors would be found when Rupert got the bum's rush. They have been conspicuous by their absence!
You have turned Joe Jordan down!
IF YOU HAD, then that is another indication of your board's incompetence! I prefer to believe Joe Jordan, who has a better track record of telling the truth than your board of directors, when he says that he has never applied! (If he did, I doubt that SFC could cough up with the compensation!)
I have checked out the attendances. SFC regularly have 10,000+ unoccupied seats.
PFC may have, at max, 2000 unoccupied seats, mainly because a lot of fans think there will be a full house and they will not get tickets. Also, they know that, being a PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB, they will be able to see virtually all of the match on SKY Football First - for which PFC get a revenue, and which SFC lost when their parachute no longer opened!
Giving away tickets to the RN. Perhaps that has something to do with the proposed site of the new ground, and the current owners!
Average attendance! We cannot exceed the ground capacity. I can assure you, we have never had one third of our seats empty for a league game. As our record gate, when there were terraces, is 51,000+, I feel certain that, with the increase in population, we would have no trouble filling a 'state of the art' stadium that you boast of. We would do it because we have 'state of the art' footballers - which is what people come to see!
We are about Stains because of one thing, money! Correct! True! That's right! The money that SFC received in transfer fees over the years has evaporated, and you have nothing to show for it! Oh! The 'state of the art stadium' I hear you say! Surely that was financed by the sale of The Dell for housing, while SMS was built on an industrial site, unfit for housing - ie cheap!
PFC's money was spent on building a team - the reason we come to Fratton Park, the home of THE SOUTH COAST'S ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM!
You have a nice, new stadium with a 'rag-tag' bunch of journeymen players, who are taking the club downward instead of upwards.

If Pompey's honeymoon period is well and truly over, I guess that means we now settle down to live happily ever after.
SFC? Well, everything seems to be coming apart at the seams, so I guess that not only is the honeymoon over (if there was ever a marriage), you appear to be heading for an inevitable breakdown, with an appearance in the divorce courts (administration) a near certainty!

No wonder you are a Bitter Princess from Bittern!

Up to your knees in the brown and smelly, while making a lot of noise, but not a lot of sense! SAD! SO VERY SAD!
Getting right under your skin, aint l Sam.

Bitter, no not me l only deal in facts, facts that you obviously do not want to hear.

Bitter,l bet you were one of the few-blue who smashed their own town up, not so long ago.

Goodnight Princess!
I just thought you should know that THE SOUTH COAST'S ONLY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM are in Malaga, (Spain) for a break before their cup-tie on Sunday.
I just mentioned this because, actions speak louder than words! You don't take the team away for a break when you are skint.
Where has SFC gone?
Getting right under my skin? I have children of my own, so am used to juveniles being a pest.
I used to read them fairy stories, but they have grown out of that now. I must get them on here so that they can read your attempts.

Some Fairy! Some Stories!
