IT was a great week for Hampshire cricket, writes Jimmy Adams in his exclusive Hampshire Chronicle column this week - a fantastic victory at May's Bounty followed by another in the Pro40 fixture at the Rose Bowl.

"The championship win is a massive boost in our bid to stave off relegation while a victory in our final Pro40 game will give us a real chance of some silverware," he writes.
