MARK Wotte is refusing to look past Saturday’s clash with QPR, as Saints enter a crucial four-match period in their bid for survival.
Saints host the London club, who are in terrible form, at St Mary’s this weekend.
After that, they will visit fellow strugglers Blackpool in the first of three six-pointers.
Following their trip to the Tangerines, Saints will face Charlton at home and then play their rearranged fixture with Watford at Vicarage Road.
That is a spell that will undoubtedly define Saints’ season and one they almost certainly need to pick up a couple of wins from.
With teams at the bottom beginning to bunch up – only three points separate Saints and the three teams above them – the relegation battle is reaching a critical stage.
But Wotte has no intention of looking too far ahead.
All the Dutchman is interested in is taking three points on Saturday.
