BEN Dillon scored a hat-trick as Republic of Chineham won a nine-goal thriller 5-4 against PSE in the first round of the Bernard Cornish Cup.
However, PSE were no pushovers, leading by a goal until the final five minutes, thanks to a Dave Lee hat-trick and the goal-of-the-game in the shape of Sam Burrowes’ 30-yard screamer into the top corner.
But Dillon’s hat-trick, and one each from David Hines and Matt Durrant rounded off the victory for Republic.
