4:51pm
FULL-TIME - Basingstoke Town 0 Dover Athletic 1
Jason Bristow got the response he wanted but it's still another defeat for Town. They were the better side and created enough chances to win the match - but just did not take them.
See The Monday Gazette for a full report and all of the reaction to the game.
4:51pm
That's another fine save by the visiting 'keeper, who keeps out Delano Sam-Yorke's low shot after a bustling run by the striker.
4:44pm
Both men seem to be okay though and are now back on.
4:43pm
That's a big clash of heads between Dover's Iam Simpemba and Town's Tim Sills on halfway.
4:42pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Stefan Brown on for Jordace Holder-Spooner
SUBSTITUTION - Dover Athletic - Callum Willock on for Ben May
4:38pm
SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Callum McNish on for Stuart Lake
Lake has been off the field for a number of minutes after receiving a blow to the nose and he eventually has to be replaced.
4:32pm
DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION - Dover Athletic - Jamie Smith and Dean Rance on for Daryl McMahon and Billy Bricknell.
4:31pm
That's more good work by Ashley Bayes, who collects a low cross at his near post.
4:28pm
That's a great save from Ashley Bayes to prevent Jay Gasson scoring an own-goal with a flick from a right-wing cross. The 'keeper was at full stretch to push it wide.
4:22pm
YELLOW CARD - Dover Athletic - Tom Wynter
Wynter catches Douglas Bergqvist late and is booked.
4:20pm
Shaun McAuley crosses from the right and Tim Sills' header is not too far wide. It was a tough chance from a looping cross.
4:17pm
Delano Sam-Yorke almost puts Jordace Holder-Spooner through but the pass is just too heavy.
4:13pm
The resulting free-kick from Darryl McMahon almost curls in the top corner but in the end it's well wide.
4:12pm
YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Matt Warner
Ricky Modeste gets the better of Warner down the Town left and the Basingstoke man trips him, earning a yellow card.
4:09pm
That's a great save by Dover 'keeper Mitch Walker, who does brilliantly to claw out Jay Gasson's powerful header from a corner.
4:06pm
That's another big chance wasted. Jordace Holder-Spooner and Delano Sam-Yorke link up down the left, with the former pulling the ball back for Tim Sills at the near post - but he can only shoot wide.
4:01pm
KICK-OFF - Dover get the game restarted. Town have the wind behind them in this second half.
4:00pm
Come on lads we can get back into this ... Keep the faith #btfc

HALF-TIME - Basingstoke Town 0 Dover Athletic 1
An entertaining and open first half. Town have looked shaky at the back and conceded a bad goal but have otherwise been the better side.
Once again though, they are failing to take their chances.
The good news - it's much better than last week. The bad news - these are the sort of games Town have a bad habit of losing.
3:48pm
Great play by Tim Sills gives Delano Sam-Yorke the chance to fire in an angled drive. Mitch Walker makes the save but fails to hold and it takes excellent blocks to deny first Jordace Holder-Spooner and then Delano Sam-Yorke levelling the scores.
3:38pm
Delano Sam-Yorke does well on the right side of the area but is eventually crowded out, with the home fans' cries for a penalty again failing to move referee Wayne Porter.
3:35pm
That's another clear chance. A couple of Dover defenders miss Matt Warner's low cross and Shaun McAuley is unopposed in the area. He really should score but shoots straight at Mitch Walker.
3:33pm
Town seem to have pushed Delano Sam-Yorke and Jordace Holder-Spooner out wide and Sam-Yorke puts in a cross that Shaun McAuley can only head narrowly wide under pressure. A decent opening.
3:32pm
That's a lucky escape for the hosts. A simple flick from Ben May catches Douglas Bergqvist attempting to play offside and Billy Bricknell was in the clear, but Ashley Bayes was out quickly to clear the danger.
3:28pm
That's a clear chance for Tim Sills. The ball was headed on and Mitch Walker dropped the ball under pressure from Shaun McAuley. It broke for Sills 15 yards out but the striker blasted well over with the 'keeper out of position.
3:22pm
Delano Sam-Yorke does well to win the ball back and it breaks for Shaun McAuley, but his shot from 25 yards is too close to Mitch Walker.
3:21pm
A great pass from Darryl McMahon puts Chris Sessegnon away down the right - but he blasts a shot wastefully over when he should have passed.
3:20pm
It's an open game at the moment and Jordace Holder-Spooner's low cross is just missed by Delano Sam-Yorke at the near post - with Town's shouts of handball against Danny Webb waved away.
3:18pm
That was a decidedly sticky couple of minutes for the hosts defensively. There were a couple of scrambles, with Ben May almost forcing the ball home during one - but they finally managed to clear.
3:16pm
That's a decent corner from Shaun McAuley. Douglas Bergqvist heads the ball back across goal but there is nobody there to touch it in.
3:15pm
Billy Bricknell dances past two men before firing in an angled shot that Ashley Bayes does well to palm away.
3:07pm
It looks like the formation is 4-3-3, with Shaun McAuley, Wes Daly and Stuart Lake the midfield three.
3:03pm
GOAL - Basingstoke Town 0 Dover Athletic 1 (May 4)
Oh dear. That's another sloppy goal conceded by Town and they're on the back foot already.
The hosts fail to deal with a long ball into the area from a free-kick and the ball breaks for Ben May. Town are appealling for either handball or offside but are given nothing and May fires home from 10 yards.
3:02pm
Barry Cogan almost gets a clear sight of goal but Rob Rice does well to get the ball behind for a corner.
3:01pm
The hosts have the first shot on goal as Matt Warner feeds Jordace Holder-Spooner and his effort from a tight angle forces Dover 'keeper Mitch Walker into a low save.
3:00pm
KICK-OFF - Town get the game under way. They are shooting down the slope towards the Town End in the first half, with the wind against them.
2:56pm
The players emerge onto the field on a cold and breezy afternoon.

2:41pm
TEAM NEWS - Town manager Jason Bristow has made three changes to the side that under-performed so badly at Weston.
Matt Warner returns after missing that game due to work commitments, Stuart Lake is back after more than a month out with a broken toe and Jordace Holder-Spooner is recalled to the starting line-up. They replace Nathan Campbell, Callum McNish and Nathan Smart, who isn't even on the bench.
I'm not sure what the formation is yet. It could be 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or even 4-4-2. I'll let you know when the game starts.
Dover name a strong side featuring former Eastleigh and Farnborough man Daryl McMahon, while Callum Willock, who starred for Ebbsfleet when they were promoted from this league a couple of years ago, is only on the bench.
Town: Bayes, Rice, Warner, Bergqvist, Gasson, Lake, Daly, McAuley, Sills, Sam-Yorke, Holder-Spooner. Subs: Brown, Campbell, Dunn, McNish, Paterson.
Dover: Walker, Sessegnon, Wynter, Thomson, Simpemba, Webb, Modeste, McMahon, May, Bricknell, Cogan. Subs: Huke, Smith, Rance, Willock, Hook.
2:34pm
Good afternoon and welcome to live updates from the Camrose, where Basingstoke Town are hosting Dover Athletic in the Blue Square Bet South.
Let's hope we have a better afternoon than last week, when Town were beaten 5-2 at Weston-super-Mare. They could really do with three points today or the gap will begin to grow between them and the top five.
