Kaiser Wessex suffer cup defeat
8:00am Friday 18th January 2013 in Hampshire Sport By Tony Spencer
Action from Kaiser Wessex's cup game against Hurstbourne Tarrant.
KAISER Wessex made their exit from the Andover Presidents Cup, beaten 3-2 by visiting Hurstbourne Tarrant.
They conceded two dubious penalties, which gave the visitors a 2-1 lead after Craig Barker had earlier scored from the spot. Things got worse shortly after the break, when Kaiser conceded a third goal.
The home side then piled on the pressure and their dominance eventually told, when Scotty Harvey scored a second, but that was where the comeback ended.
In same competition, Republic of Chineham comfortably disposed of Andover visitors Folly 4-1.
