Two goals from Wayne Rooney kept Manchester United's title dreams on track as they beat Saints 2-1 at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
The visitors gave a good account of themselves and even took the lead in the third minute from Jay Rodriquez.
However, five minutes later Rooney equalised and then struck the winner after a Robin van Persie's free-kick was headed across by Patrice Evra.
