Visit of leaders is ‘win, win situation’ for Trojans

Trojans believe they can be in a ‘win, win situation’ – even if they lose tomorrow.

London 1 South’s bottom side will face the full force of runaway leaders East Grinstead at Stoneham Park.

The visitors have taken the season by storm – winning 20 from 20, already scoring more than a thousand points and conceding just 141.

It will be a daunting 80 minutes for Trojans but new coach Dean Lewis is still expecting a steady improvement from his side to continue.

He said: “They (East Grinstead) have a lot of quality players in their squad and they are obviously looking at bigger and better things.

“They have not been defeated this season and in all honesty you would not expect them to be.

“But we are going to try and shape our game the way we have been and try and get good performances from individuals.

“Last week, even though we were beaten, there were areas which were a vast improvement and if we can do that we are going forward.

“If we can get some positives from the game we will be in a win, win situation.”

Havant and Gosport & Fareham – fourth and third from bottom respectively – both have home advantage in their fight to survive the drop.

Havant host Beckenham while Gos welcome Wimbledon.
