TOWN Championship semi-finalist Billy Castle was in century-breaking form during a frustrating weekend.
A second successive quarter-final appearance in the EASB Under-21 Series at the North East Derbyshire Snooker Centre, Clay Cross, kept alive the 19-year-old’s hopes of an IBSF World Under-21 Championship spot.
However, Castle slipped one place to sixth after a 4-2 defeat by Londoner Sean O’Sullivan.
The teenager’s dad, Derek Castle, said: “Sean O’Sullivan played well. He had a 136 (total clearance) in the first frame, 50 in the third and 105 in the last. (Billy) couldn’t really do much about it.”
