BRIDPORT will be looking to put daylight between themselves and fellow strugglers Barnstaple Town when the two sides meet at Mill Road tomorrow (3pm).
The Bees, currently 14th in the Toolstation Western Premier Division, sit one place and two points clear of their opponents, but having played two games more.
Therefore Trevor Senior’s men, who suffered a 1-0 defeat when the two teams clashed in October, will be keen to secure a vital victory in their quest for survival.
The boss said: “When we played them earlier in the season at home I didn’t think they were particularly great and was disappointed to see us lose 1-0 to a late winner after missing several chances.
“Former Dorchester Town striker Owen Pickard is their manager and it is one of our longest trips as well, but it is certainly a winnable game and that is exactly the attitude we will be going there with.”
The Bees are expected to name an unchanged squad with Sam Charles (knee) still sidelined by injury and Shane Evans yet to serve the final match of his suspension following last weekend’s postponement.
Bees (from): Filkins, Condliffe, C Clarke, J Charles, Senior, Hayter, Legg, Luke, Wise, Watts, Morgan, Conning, Richardson, Hill, Lock.
