Basingstoke Town game set to go ahead after Truro City hearing is ajourned

TOMORROW night's Blue Square Bet South encounter between Basingstoke Town and Truro City looks set to go ahead as planned.

Truro faced a winding up petition at the High Court in London earlier today but the case was adjourned for two weeks as the Cornish club looks set to enter administration in the coming days.

Had the Registrar ruled in favour of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, who are bringing the case against Truro, the club could have ceased to exist.

However, the adjournment means that tomorrow's match at the Camrose (kick-off 7.45pm) is almost certain to go ahead.
