A driver has been arrested after a pedestrian was hospitalised following a crash.
Police were called at around midday on Friday (May 10) to reports of a crash at the junction of the A336 and Ringwood Road in Totton.
The incident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s from Southampton, was taken to Southampton General Hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old man from Totton, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempt to cause GBH with intent to do GBH.
He remains in custody at this time.
A police spokesperson said: "If you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything of the incident, or have any dash cam footage, please call 101 and quote incident number 44240195723"
